CIEC Public Recognition

Participating companies will receive public recognition and a certificate from the Colorado Energy Office (CEO). The first group of companies to join the program, prior to the kickoff recognition event in July 2010, received special acknowledgement as Charter Members. The Director of CEO presents awards each year, signed by the Governor, to participating companies that achieve outstanding energy savings.

The Governor of Colorado supports this program because it helps industrial facilities to reduce energy costs and improve competitiveness, while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The emission reductions contribute towards achieving the goals of the Colorado Climate Action Plan.
